Ohhh - that sounds like fun...BUT - a lot of us drink regional wines - how will we handle those? They're not readily available all over the country... _________________ -Joy

On another forum I'm on, they have a game called Simon Sez, I say do a bakespace version of that. Every month "Simon Sez" what "type" of wine. At the end of the month, Simon picks his/her personnal favorite post/recipe/wine from the "submissions" and that poster becomes the next "Simon"....
Just a sugestion..... _________________ http://JofussGallery.etsy.com

I say if its a regional or hard to find wine, then a second "type" is added to the list for the month for the people who can't get it. Remember, we're talking variety's, not necessarily vintages/wineries. This month is Malbec, so you can find ANY Malbec
For "custom" varietals, if they come up, then the second option of the month would work. _________________ http://JofussGallery.etsy.com

Yes,.. that's exactly what I mean. Like pino nior.. it gives an opportunity to "virtually" taste a lot of pinos together.. Also, we all are at different places in our lives so it will be awesome to see the different brands and prices discussed. Some are Trader Joes 2buck chuck fans.. others are more exotic.. or maybe you'll splurge one week and discover you can spend the extra 3 bucks on the bottom of merlot you've always wanted to try. It's really open. I say we pick "generic" types and we all give our "take" on finding a bottle and talking about them. |
