Well, I couldn't find the pie crust, but I am not done looking. In the mean time I did get a Marie Callender Razzleberry Pie with one of the coupons and it was fantastic. The filling wasn't too tart, just sweet enough, lots of raspberries, black raspberries and (I think) blueberries, and the crust was almost as good as making one myself....better if you consider the hassle it is to actually make one! It went over very well at my house. The only problem was deciding which flavor. I almost went with the banana cream and my husband wanted the cherry with a Dutch crumb topping. So we compromised and went with the Razzleberry. Good choice...

Ok... I used my coupons to buy pies.... because they were more expensive and the coupon covered them... but then I bought the pie shells =)
I loved them! I've only used one so far. (there are two to a package) Without a coupon, it was less than $4. $2 per pie shell is TOTALLY worth it for me. I hate to work with dough. Since Marie Callender makes such great pie shells for such a reasonable price, I don't have to! The convenient packaging allows the unused pie shell to be stored in the freezer until you're ready to use it.
I filled the first shell with quiche for a football party on Sunday.
Everyone loved it!
I'll definitely buy these again! _________________ ~Marguerite

For anyone having trouble locating the pies/shells.. the pie shells are available in 40 states (this could be why some are having a hard time). They are carried in all Kroger, Safeway, Publix stores and most Albertsons and Walmart stores. They are also carried in many chains that are regional.
Nice reviews so far.. Thanks guys. |
