OK, until the Simon Elect returns from her tour of family duty, I open the monthly wine up to "SOMTHING NEW"
Thats right, until Pat returns with her Selection of the Month, you all go out and get a wine variety that YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED BEFORE!!! For those of you like Shane who have tried EVERYTHING, then try to pick one you're sure few people here have heard of!!!
Have fun, get creative, try something different!!!! _________________ http://JofussGallery.etsy.com

Oh YAY!!! I have one in particular that I want to try out. (I know that some have already mentioned it but I've never tried it. ) Probably won't get it until closer to the weekend though.
Thanks Joe |

Funny Joe!! There is alot of wine I have never had...
Regrettably that is because I cannot afford it... It taunts me with it's high prices every time I walk into BevMo. Sauternes, Vin Santo, Trockenbaurenaussleise <sp> and the spelling only gets worse from there...
although it's really a choice... I can spend 65 dollars on a bottle or buy a weeks worth of food. Although with prices lately, it's not going quite as far anymore... So I may need to resort my priorities... I wonder how Chateaunuff du Paupe tastes with Oriental flavored Top Ramen? _________________ ~ Shane

Yes, I know you havn't tried all the Arbor Mist's yet! Lets see, a sophisticated, wine snob type review on Boones Strawberry Hill, that would be GREAT!!! (though I think most uf us have tried that one lol) _________________ http://JofussGallery.etsy.com

I was always a fan of Mountain Blackberry and Delicious Apple... Strawberry Hill was too sweet...
Oh... Strawberry hill just made me realize... I have never had a White Merlot... White Zin - Yes, White Grenache - Yes... Which is why I have an aversion to Rose wines... But I will give it a go... Might go OK with dinner... Turkey Ravioli.. But I will have to make the Cranberry Beurre Blanc... _________________ ~ Shane

Nice. I was picking up a little whiskey to make the sauce for dinner, maybe I will snag a bottle of wine too.

Danielle: Heh, I haven't had Boones since I was a teenager. When I first moved out I used to get a boxed wine (back before they got classy), a blush I think, that was 7.99 for 5 bottles or so worth. It tasted just like white grape juice. Good times. _________________ Cooking Stuff
