Hello everyone! Yes, I'm still here! I check in but haven't found time to post. I survived Thanksgiving with my family! Sheryle can tell you...that for me is quite a feat!

I'm getting excited for Christmas. Our cookie exchange was very fun! The cookies were so pretty my family didn't want to eat them...but they did!

I'm off work after today so hopefully I'll have more time to get online. My daughter is in town from DC until the 26th and I hope to spend time with her. I plan to bake a little more, do a little shopping, and then just relax.

I've missed you all and will try to be better about posting. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Guys.. I just want our other BakeSpace members know that the TOH women decided to do a card exchange and included me in the mix. We didn't send out BakeSpace cards to our members. Hope no one thinks I didn't send a card to them or that they were excluded. I love you all. Smile

You'll see the card in the new newsletter we're sending out within the next day or two.

**Linda, I am so glad that Christmas calories don't count, whew, that will really help. Sorry to hear about your ear infection, I hope it isn't too painful and that the antibiotics work quickly for you.
**Holly, that was a nice graphic for the troops, I feel so bad for them being so far from home and family. Holly so sorry that John's legs are bothering him, he is lucky to have you to look after him.
**Sheryle, I hope work flew by quickly for you today, another day closer to your being able to sleep in.
**Vicki, this warm weather is weird for December isn't it?
**Debbie, sorry to hear that you caught a bug, but glad to hear that your Mom will be able to move to rehab soon, that is a good sign. It is great that she is starting to eat a little too. Hope that mountain of laundry has dwindled down to nothing. It just never seems to end does it?
**Anita, what kind of cookies did you bake today?
**Suzanne, have a nice visit with your daughter and enjoy your time off from work. Hope you get a chance to let us know how your holidays are going.
**Babette, I got my Christmas card today also. Very nice. I am glad you joined us in our card exchange.

I am trying to get lots of wrapping done today, I also baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies for the guys at hubby's work, they said they wanted the real thing, not the low-fat, low-calorie stuff that their wives and mothers made. Hope everyone else is making headway getting their Holiday preparations done.

Hello girls...Just a short note to say good-nite...i think i'm heading for bed a little early. I've already napped in the recliner for a couple hours. DH broughtme home some cold medicine and it has really made me sleepy. The laundry is getting dome slow but sure. i didn't go to the hospital today or this evening and i hate that ,but I didn't want to make Mom more sick.I did call and treid to talk to her, she still can't hear and could hardly talk, but at least she knows I love and miss her. I guess she ate rice krispies cereal for dinner, so at least she is eating something.
well, I'm getting off here..I'll talk with you all in the morning..Take care...Debbie
