Morning Vicki,Sheryle,Kathy,Suzanne,Kenna Lou,Pat and all to follow:

Vicki- Bonaire is a Dutch Island and whenever we go there we love the chocolate. I wanted to bring Dutch Letter home but was afraid of the heat since we had a long layover in Puerto Rico.

Sheryle-

on your Blog! We had a little christmas also. Our son called- he's in the gulf again but they couldn't put any divers in due to very stormy seas. He usually can't call but guess since it was christmas he was able to use the satellite phone.

Kathy,Suzanne,Pat- Glad you had a wonderful Christmas Very Happy

Kenna Lou- Lots of prayers for you. You will be in my all day and tomorrow.

Lots of fog this morning- I have this week off so I slept in and not going to do much today.

Sheryle,
I just saw your blog (still learning to make my way around here) and your poem made me cry.I have the same wish for my Mom.She passed away about a year and a half ago and I miss her so much,she was my best friend as well as my Mother.Christmas just isn't the same.
The flowers you had on there are beautiful.I put some on Moms last week.In the spring I put Iris,they were her favorite.
Even though it made me cry the poem is beautiful and I will remember it always.Thank you!

Good Afternoon Everyone and our newcomers!
Just getting on. The last 2 days have Bent hectic. going to my sister's was hard for my leg. but I managed. Yesterday everyone was here, the best part was the catering. I didn't have to do a thing. It's been a very long time since that has happened. We have lots of leftovers for this week.
Also my brother brought me a 13 lb ham. I cut it up into 3 pieces for 3 different dinners and froze it.
Waiting for the PT man to come and work with me. When they did the operation they hit my sciatic nerve on my good leg and it is numb. I am worried about that. I go to the Dr. tomorrow to have the staples removed, I have a list of questions for him.
Kenna Lou I am thinking of you and I hope we both get good news tomorrow.

HELLO VICKI, SHERYLE,KATHY, SUZANNE, KENNA LOU, PAT, LINDAL., LINDA W. and ALL that stop in... This is the first chance that I've had to get on the computer and I don't have much time now, I'll explain more later, but right now I'm headed for the re-hab center to see Mom. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to ya!
I do want to take the time to say a "SPECIAL PRAYER" for KENNA LOU, I pray that your doctors appt. tomorrow goes well, please keep your faith! And also for LINDA W> with her doctors appt. tomorrow...I pray they can do something about that sciatic nerve on your good leg. That would be awful to have 2 bad legs.
Well I've got to go...just wanted to say hi and that I was thinking about you ALL. take care....Debbie

Hi everyone. Sheryle your blog was so touching. My father passed away February of last year. and my husband and i moved in with my mother who is in the end stages of Alzhiemers. So Christmas was very hard and yet happy because mom is still here with me. Kenna Lou be postitive and go in there with all of us praying for you. What better prayer warriors than all of us. Vicki I hope your Doctor can help. Prayers are with you too.
