I can't believe I'm still up, the last few years I've been asleep before the new year arrived. I just changed the channel on the tv to watch the ball drop in New York and thought seeing Dick Clark was a little sad especially to hear him speak. I'm thankful that 2007 is starting out better than 2006 did and that I have come to know all my BakeSpace friends.

I hope all of you have a wonderful 2007!

GOOD MORNING SHERYLE and VICKI and EVERYONE that stops in today...... You both are up early...here I thought I was going to be the first one to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR !! lol I've been up since 4:30 and DH and I didn't go to bed until 3:00, so I'll be ready for a nap this afternoon, but right now I'm wide awake! DH and I got all the Christmas decorations and the tree put away. I'm so glad that job is done...it takes me all day to get the house cleaned and back in order and my poor ole foot was just killing me....if I would have had some pain pills I would have taken several! I got done about 6:00 and we ordered a pizza for dinner, which was nice...no cooking! Then I came in here to the computer and played around and put some things on "myspace"....I finally learned how to do that. I don't really like my backgroung layout, it's too busy, so I'll probably be changing it soon . The only thing I haven't figured out is hpw to put music on .....but I'll get there. I was too tired and in too much pain to go see Mom last nite, so I called and she was very tired too. All she said on the phone was Happy New Year and handed my dad the phone. He said she over did it with being up and exercising. I'll go see her today though...I try not to miss seeing her, if I can help it, as she enjoys the company.

***SHERYLE, So glad you New Year has started out better. I wish only good things for you in the year to come.

***VICKI, How is your eye doing? Are you able to wear your contacts yet or is your eye still swollen? I wish only good things for you in the coming year as well.
