Today is the last day of my lovely long weekend and I am sad about that. I had such a nice weekend - I've had two days just for me, spent Friday with my favorite cousin and had a wonderful time and yesterday was with my eldest sister, brother in-law, eldest brother, sister in-law, one of my niece's, her husband and their two youngest children. I had a nice day visting with them and received two nice surprises - two Christmas presents that I hadn't expected to receive. My sister gave me a porcelin santa whose bag is a bowl for dip/spreads and when you pull off his hat, it's a spreader - it is so cute! My brother and sister in-law gave me the DVD of Chronicles of Narnia, with a set of Narnia bookends - one bookend shows the children going into the wardrobe and the other bookend is the entrance to Narnia. I was teasing them and said that now I have to buy the books to go with the bookends. I've read several of the books, but never read the whole series. So I will probably watch the DVD this afternoon. It's such an ugly rain soaked day, it's a carbon copy of yesterday, and a perfect day for watching movies.
Holly - thanks for the cute New Years bears, I'll use them in some of my messages today.
Debbie - isn't it nice to finally get all the Christmas things put away? I thought your MySpace looked nice - I did manage to put Christmas music on my profile, but haven't tried to add any since.
Still keeping Kenna Lou, Vicki, Linda W, Debbie and Jan's mothers in my prayers. I haven't received an answer from Jan so am very worried - I hope she gets a chance to pop in soon.
I guess I had better go - I'll try to check in again later.
Have a Happy New!

Good Morning all
Hope everyone had a great night. Just stayed home watched a video and watched Dick Clark. Stayed up most of the night worrying about the girls,
But they were fine. My DD went to Manhattan to a restaurant and for $120 got no food but open bar. I thought that was ridiculous. Her twin stayed home with the boyfriend whose landlord had a party in the house, had a DJ and they had a great time. 3rd Dd went to a house party, didn't drink, because I told her every police officer was out last night. Most got home between 4 - 5 am, one stayed at the boyfriends instead of driving home. So I didn't sleep much.
Having friends and my brother over today. Went to Costco, pickup wrap sandwiches and sushi. Really need to be cleaning this house before they come but I am playing on the computer.
I am calling the Dr. on Tues. the pain in my good leg is getting worse, mostly when I get in bed. Another reason I am not sleeping.
It's raining really hard here, not like yesterday when it was a beautiful day.
Well everyone better be going, Have a wonderful day, will be thinking of you all

Pat,
You can store your favorite graphics on-line at either Photobucket (we prefer Fotki) http://signup.fotki.com/
You sign up for a free account. They start you out with the premium bells and whistles account for free for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, you can either pay for the premium account OR keep the free one. You get a free 10 MB of space you can request every 30 days.
You can take graphics you download on the computer, upload them to Fotki and click on share photo. Then, click on hot link-it will generate your graphic url/address for you to use at Bake Space or any other forum |
