I couldn't remember if Larry or Shane did a review (I think they did try some) so I put them up there just for the heck of it!
I left it open for 3 days, so we'll have the weekend to vote. |
I did, but I didn't type it up, cause I could not find my notes after I got back to San Diego....
The only thing I an say is... Clois du Bois (Regular) is MUCH better than their so called "Reserve" which is much harsher in flavor...
and the Chilean Chardonnay may as well have been paint thinner (it was just a little too "Rustic" with way to much burn going down)
That's the summerization...
I have been a SERIOUS slacker this month... _________________ ~ Shane

Whoop, sorry kids. I should have put up the poll last night. But I had had a couple beers with my fajitas and it kind of slipped my mind. Thanks DD! _________________ Cooking Stuff

Shane & Dani- yup, I concur as well. However, it's been raining ALL week, so if it's nice, I might be out in the hot tub.....if its cold or raining, put it this way....you'll know....I'll hunt y'all down LOL |

I went out to eat and had a Chardonay but did not take any pictures . It was a Kendall Jackson 2002 and was way , waaaayyyy too oaky for me . I am not a fan of Chardonay for that very reason , but decided to bite the bullet for The Wine Club . I can't say I would recommend it , but I can give a good pairing idea . When you get the grill out and have no lighter fluid ... that's right , this stuff would do the job The bottle had just been opened and I let everyone get theirs and ate my dinner before pouring mine . The face I made must have been pretty hilarious because my date laughed until she had no sound coming out of her mouth ... just a whisper as she gasped for breath . _________________ * Peace on Earth *
