Hi Everyone
Well went to PT yesterday and came home to make a meatloaf and take down the Christmas decorations. In the middle of that I got so tired I laid down and fell asleep for 3 hours. Not sleeping finally caught up to me.
Today I am putting up my snowman collection, doing bills and paperwork I must attend to. I also have PT again today.
So I have to run to get this all done, but everyone have a terrific day

Good morning Holly,Linda and all others who stop by later.
Not sure what I'm going to do today other than cook, wash clothes.Got the girls to school this morning Kaitlyn excited to go back,Kristin just so-so.Yesterday my DD and I were going to take down her decorations in her Sunday school class when she got home from work but we didn't get to.So maybe today I'll see if I can do that. The new teacher coming on this Sunday might want to put up some.
Cooking chicken today haven't made up my mind what I'm going to do with it ,thinking about making a chicken pot pie.
Wishing you all a wonderful day.

| Good Morning, Holly, Linda W. and Pat. Linda, what did PT say about the pain in your good leg? I hope someone has some answers and is able to help. Pat chicken pot pie sounds so good. You meals always sound good. I only have one last decoration area to put away, my bay window had a beautiful display this year thanks to my DSIL she brought me some awesome decorations and her and my son decorated it for me, it was so sweet of them it makes me sad to take it down, but I guess all good things must come to an end. My hubby went hunting this morning with his brother so it is nice and quiet here and I am enjoying it! Well, my chai is getting cold, so I better get to drinking it and enjoying the morning paper. I will check back later and see what everyone is up to. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. |

GOOD MORNING HOLLY,LINDA W,PAT and ALL MY OTHER DEAR FRIENDS...Another beautiful day in the neighborhood.Someone needs to convience me that it's actually January! I've never seen a January this warm. I seen on the weather channel that this coming Saturday it's going to be in the 60's...that's just unheard of for this time of year! Today is going to be another busy day for me...I still have a load or two of laundry to do,I need to vacumn and my 2 grandsons will be here about 1:30 and stay and play til about 8:30 this evening. I think for dinner I'll make bake chicken , mashed potatoes n' gravy, corn and applesauce. Blake, the youngest(almost a year) loves to eat people food and he makes yum, yum noise when he gets a bite. I told DD she should stop buying baby food...it would save her some money.
Went to see Mom at the re-hab center yesterday afternoon...she was just getting ready to get in a nap, so we only stayed about an hour. I went with DD,DSIL and the boys and the boys always make her perk up and smile....so it was a good visit. She's pushing herself extra hard, so she can get home. She told us she's lost 32 pounds since she's been in the hospital. She needed to lose a little, but I don't think that much.
***HOLLY, I loved your little graphic as usual! How's John's leg doing? And his Dad?
***LINDA W, How long do they work with you on your PT? Mom said they work with her for an hour and a half...she says that's long enough! I'm sure your 3 hr. nap did you a world of good. Did you ask your doctor about an anti-inflamatorey for the numbness in your good leg. That's what I took when my sciac nerve was pinched and making my leg numb. It takes about a week for the swelling to go down, but sure makes it feel better. I collect snowmen also, but believe or not...I didn't get any out this year. I did however get 3 new ones this year for Christmas. They are made by Jim Shore...are you filmilar with his work? I love to collect his things, alot of detail and color.
***PAT, You're doing exactly what I'm doing today. Your Chicken Pot Pie sounds really good. Don't work too hard...I know I won't ! lol
Well speaking of working..I guess I better go get busy and make an effort to get finished before the boys get here. Hello to "EVERYONE" still to stop by. I hope "EVERYONE' has a great day! Take care....Debbie _________________ Debbie

HI Everyone and Debbie
I put up my snowmen this morning, never heard of Jim Shore, but will google him. The numbness is getting better in the leg. I guess I was impatience. PT is about 45 min. I know I will crash this afternoon because I overdid this morning.
Just making homemade Zucchini soup and bread for dinner tonight with a big salad.
Have a great day

Hi Linda W.....Love the little mouse graphic...where do you all find such cute ones? Yes, google Jim Shore...I really love his work, it looks like craved wood, but it's almost unbreakable. I seen him on QVC, they carry his line and some of the better gift shops carry his work also. So glad you good leg is getting better...how about the one you had surgery on? You take care of yourself....Debbie _________________ Debbie
