Hello Girls...It's almost 8:30 and I just now got set down for the evening. I've been on the go since before 9:00 oclock this morning! First of all Mom told me last nite that she wouldn't be home until about 11:00..so we (my sister and my daughter and the boys and myself) figured we would have have plenty of time to get over to MOms and decorate thier house with a welcome home banner and balloons! Well, at 9:15 my dad called and said they were eaving and headed home. Talk about hurring. It's a good thing that DD called in the balloon order early, because they were ready when we got there. We just got done decorating when they pulled in the driveway! Mom was over-whelmed with joy and emotion! You could tell though the 4 steps getting to thier front porch was really hard for her. We stayed until 2 o'clock, and left only then because DD had a meeting she had to go at work and I had to watch the boys. Mom needed to rest anyway and my dad was going to be there if she needed any help. My one sister fixed thier dinner tonite and i called Mom about 6:30 to see how she was and if she had eaten a good dinner and she and my dad said yes and it was very good. DSis had fixed them Baked chicken breasts, Mash Potatoes and Gravy, Brocolli casserole and a Cherry pie.....sounds very good to me. Tomorrow nite is my turn and I already told Mom I was fixing them Chicken Alfredo, Creamed Corn and Hot Garlic bread. I kinda wish my sister didn't fix them a chicken meal...but oh well...we'll get things organized sooner or later. Anyway, when I called Mom at 6:30, she said that she took a little nap this afternoon and felt pretty good.
When I got home..I played with the boys for about an hour...then I sorted my laundry and got it ready to take down stairs later. Went to the kitchen and started dinner...we had Sausage sandwiches on Biscuits, Fried Potatoes and Macaroni and cheese and Cody and I made some brownies. Then it was clean up time and bath time for the boys and off they all 3 went to thier house..so now it's quite and I've taken 3 Advil for my poor ole foot and resting. Tomorrow I will conquer the laundry and clean the house and make MOm and dad's dinner. I'll have to ahve DH take it to them after he takes his lunch break, because they eat by 3:30, because of Mom's hyadell-hernia(sp??)
***KENNA LOU, I can't believe the doctor office doesn't have those tests results yet.....that's totally uncalled for. Still praying for a good outcome though!
***ANITA...Good to see you post...have a good time on your cruise. Take some pics. to share with us.
Glad everyone had a good day today and I think gonna go wish ky-kate Happy B"Day and check out the TOH Board and also "Myspace". I'll chat with you all tomorrow. Hopefully I can sleep tonite...Debbie _________________ Debbie
