We had an almost ripe strawberry.....then a bunny got it. Now I'm totally freaking out because I really REALLY don't want to put up a fence around my cute little raised bed. Any suggestions people? Do I plant carrots around the border or what? Sad Bear (our black lab) usually protects the perimeter, but apparently the bunny knows his schedule and is sneaking in early in the morning.

ah-HA! thanks Carol.

At least I know I did a few things right. I have the raised bed, mulch, and it's on a slope. What do I have here, the energizer bunny? just my luck!

I knew I had read somewhere to plant foods that they like (as a decoy) But I like the idea of planting what they DON'T like much better. Maybe I'll do marigolds?

Has anyone planted a deterent that worked better than others?

Castor bean (Mole Plant) actually works fairly well on moles, but I don't think it works on rabbits

HAHAHAHAH NO WAY! Boy.. my brain works in mysterious ways. HAHAHH I seem to have a cat issue where there's a cat stalking my cats at night through the window (literally 4 inches away from our bedroom window).. one night I looked out the window and was looking for the coyote.. didn't realize the black cat was 3 inches from my face on the left.. peaking in like a pervert! HAHHH Darn beasts!
