Hi everyone,
As I'm typing I'm listening to the Cowsills-thanks Sheryle Taking DH to the airport tomorrow morning, he's going to Florida for a Cave Diving Program. I'll be home with my dog and working lots. Sunday I go in to set up for a huge breakfast we are doing for Martin Luther King Day. Monday I work the breakfast. Rest of the week is just as crazy. My hubby comes home on monday. What a nice B'day gift for me huh?
Hope to get back on later.
Linda

Linda:
Ideas to use instead of coconut:
-- 1 cup additional nuts, OR
-- 1 cup another kind of fruit (added after baking)
I plan on adding raisins this time. Dried cranberries, cherries, blueberries, dates, dried apricots, and dried apples would also be popular at our home.
What do you think?
Vicki
Mine is baking for the last 15 minutes. I used almonds and filberts (hazelnuts) that I just shelled this morning.

HELLO GIRLS....Well my day is done and has been for an hour. i still ahve some laundry to do but Dh said he'd do it for me tomorrow...so I think I'll let him do the foot work and I'll set and do the folding. Going up and down those basement stairs about kills my foot by the end of the day! Mom called this evening about 6 o'clock and thank me for dinner, said it was very good and there was enough left for lunch tomorrow. We(the girls in the family) have put my brother on the to cook list too and if he doesn't want to cook(he knows how) he can always get them a sub or something. Anyway, Mom requested him to make aWestern Omlete. I guess he makes a really good one. So I think he'll be fixing thier dinner tomorrow. She said she felt as good as she could. Lost another 4 lbs..I lost track of how much she lost the 9 weeks she was in the hospital...I think about 30 to 40 lbs...! Vicki, the granpola recipe..i copied it down and I was thinking..do you think dried banana chips or dried pineapple would be good in it? I'm getting hungry for it already...I think I'll make a road trip to Sheryle's house for some she just made. It'll probably still be warm!
LINDA L...Here's my "Myspace" address:

Are you set up for "Myspace"? If so we need to get on each others friends list...let me know...but yea, by all means, go check out my page...it's pretty cool and I did it all myself!
Well.....I gotta go...I really need to spend more time with my sweet DH!! Hope everyone has a peaceful nite's sleep! Take care...Debbie _________________ Debbie

Hi Ladies, My name is Rebekah. My friends call me Becca. My cousin Kity has told me a lot about this site. I think that it will be fun to talk to all you ladies. I am calming my 2 kids down for the night. Hopefully they will be asleep before too long. Then I can go to bed also. My brother was in Peru about a month. He said that they drank cantelope juice, and he said that it was good. I am from North Carolina. I am in the middle of the state.
KennaLou - I hope that your test come back fine. I will say a prayer for you.
I hope to get to know you better. I will talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight.
