|
|
So hey, I've heard of this before, always wanted to do it, so now I'm thinking with our new wine club, it's a good time to start.
Has anyone else done one? have any tips? suggestions?
Specifically, I was thinking of saving each wine label, pasting it in a page, then basically, list all of the info along with my tasting notes (just like in our virtual tasting room) and whether I liked it or not. I should have done this a long time ago. Jim has one sort of, but his is for winemaking. (top secret recipes and formulas in there ya know ) |

| Maybe we should do a virtual one here just for information purposes no discussions with in the post...just post the Vineyard year etc and your tasting notes... I know not everyone's pallet is the same and all but it might be able to produce some leads for us nuevo wine lovers |

That's a great suggestion Mrs.Mixon!
Each person could have their own "space" (topic) just for their notebook. I also agree with the "no discussion" (I know sometimes stuff gets lost in the shuffle as some of us get a little chatty). Personally, I would love to see other's notes as well.
Nice, I really like this idea, thanks so much! I'm so glad you mentioned this now because I can take pics of the labels that I'm saving at home. |

DD,
Are you soaking the wine lables off the bottles, or using one of those "Lable savers" sold in some wine stores.
The lael savers are clear thin plastic with glue on one side. Supposedly, you paste them onto the lable, then peel off and it brings up a thin part of the lable, sealed forever on the plastic. Just curiouse, cuz I want to know how the lable savers work, never tried em myself. _________________ http://JofussGallery.etsy.com
