Only 2 liquor stores in Indiana that carry it. One is in North Indianapolis and the other in Carmel. Both about a 45 min drive.....We're soooo busy, I don't see taking the time to drive for it.
But I'll just pick something else, maybe something similar to it's description. |

I posted a link to a search site for wine that I found. It's pretty cool. You can search by country, state and/or city.
If anyone has any similar site you'd like for me to add just let me know over there. |

Ok guys...I got a bottle of Suavia. I went to BevMo and the lady there had NO idea what the hell I was talking about. She kept asking me what kind it was...was it a chard? a merlot? No you dumb a$$, for the FIFTH time it's a Suavia...its a "kind" all its OWN!!! omg...so after 10 minutes of following her around the store and finally looking it up on the store computer...we found it. They carry 2 brands so I chose the least expensive of the 2.
Name: Soave Superiore Classico D.O.C.G (Denominazione Di Origine Controllata E Garantita) hows THAT for a name LOL
Region: Italy
Price: $13.99
Year: 2007
Short intro from the wine maker about the wine: There's no intro just: White Wine, Product of Itally, Net Cont. 750 ML, Alc 12.5% by Vol. Thats it. And then of course the "Government Warning".
Review: It is dry yet somewhat sweet...but even sweet is to strong of a word. The "nose" reminds me of a chard but the actual flavor is fruitier. You get that burst of flavor and it dies quickly..almost leaving the pallet clean....with barely an lingering mellow fruit flavor. My pallet isn't refined enough to determine what the hell I'm really tasting fruit wise...other than grape LOL
Would you buy again?: Well...its a little pricey for my budget but if someone offered it, I certainly wouldn't turn it down.
Wine Pairing Ideas/Recipes: I tried it with some smoked gouda which I think was too strong. If I have some left but the time I serve dinner, I'll try it with my caribbean chicken. Other than that, I've just been drinking it on its own. _________________ Danielle
