Good Morning FRIENDS....No time for a graphic this morning.....I've been having trouble getting in here and just happened upon this method. I've contacted babette about it, so hopfully it'll get fixed. I feel a lot better today than I did yesterday. I'll finish fixing my Roast Beef dinner today, since I didn't do it yesterday. Hope this finds everyone doing well today. Better get your milk and bread in though..because us easterns and northerns are going to get hit with some nasty weather. I told DD if she had any errands to do, she might want to do them today. She's off work today and tomorrow...thank goodness. I hate to see her drive in bad weather. Well, I better get off and get a few things done before lunch time. Hope everyone stays warm and dry. Take care...Debbie

Hi Debbie.. welcome back! I have to tell you, I was quite surprised to wake up and not see the TOH posting. We worked on the Ind. recipe pages last night. You'll notice they look different and hopefully they are easier to read and see the photos. Like any mechanical thing, when you work on one part of something you'r bound to have a domino effect on other parts.. We're currently working on the green pantry tab and our add a recipe function. Both seem to be the fall guy for our experimenting. Well, at least you can't say the site is boring. Smile

Good afternoon! Not much going on here, just on my lunch hour and thought I would get a post in.

Debbie - I had a hard time getting on too until I decided to click on one of the topics and walla! I know I didn't spell that right, but you get my drift. Speaking of drifts...I'm so glad I got my groceries yesterday, because after hearing the weather report for tonight and tomorrow, I'm sure the stores will be packed by 4 this afternoon and there will be no bread or milk to be had. Unless we have about a foot of snow or more, I'll still be expected to get to work. No I don't work for the Post Office, or in the medical profession, but I'm still expected here, unless there is a level 3 snow emergency. The world would come to an end if we didn't get contributions entered for a day. Laughing I'm glad to hear you are feeling better - sometimes you just need to get some rest and that does the trick.

My lunch hour is almost over, so guess I had better go.

Talk to you later.
Sheryle

Hmmm, I didn't know which post to reply to, so here goes. How is everyone here today? I've been busy with housework, etc., today. I just got finished doing the prayer post.

It's raining here again today and it is supposed to be real bad this afternoon starting about rush hour time.

Well, I don't have much to talk about today, so I will check with y'all later.

Have a great afternoon.

Hugs, Kenna Lou

HELLO FRIENDS...Where is everyone today? Thanks Babette for letting us know what the problem might be with the Pantry. I did manage to get on, but thought I was going to have withdrawls there for a minute. I was qiute surprised when I came got on at 11:00 and no one was here yet. Hi Sheryle and Pat...hope you girls had a good day. Hope work was good for you today Sheryle. What did youget into today Pat? I'm in the process of warming up my roast from yesterday, already have the gravy made, potatoes are peeled and I'm trying to decide what kind of veggie to have. I was going to make a dessert, but got started reading a book that I had started a while back and now I'm having trouble putting it down. It's called "RESCUE" by Nicholas Sparks. Pretty good book.
Well I better get going ..DH is coming home an hour early today (no lunch break), so I want to have dinner ready when he gets home. TTYAL..Take care...Debbie

What a boring, boring day and I'm so glad it's over! I need to get something together for dinner, but am not really hungry. If it wasn't for having to eat with my meds, I would just skip dinner. Debbie - your dinner sounds pretty good though, I would like corn or maybe green beans! Wink No plans for this evening, we are in the middle of a winter storm warning, so don't want to go out and get stuck in the middle of something. I'll probably just check out the TOH BB and then read some of my book and then go to bed early. Ahhh the exciting life of a single woman! Laughing

Debbie - glad you're enjoying your book. I love it when I find one that I hate to put down.

Kenna Lou - did you get all of your work done? You've had a lot of rain this winter, is that normal?

Pat - what do you do when you make valentine cups? Sounds like fun!

Guess I had better go out to the kitchen and see what I can find to eat.

Hi Sheryle and Kenna Lou.....Kenna I missed you when I was posting my last post....Sorry I didn't mean to neglect you. Hope you had a good day. Sheryle , too bad you don't live closer you could have come to eat dinner with us. For the veggie..I had a little bit of frozen corn and a little bit of brocolli florets..so I combined the two, cook and added a cheese sauce. DH and I both were making Yum,Yum noises. I didn't mean to start a thread too..I didn't realize that Pat and I started one at the same time.
Well, now that dinner is over and the dishes are done all I have to worry about is doing some more reading and Maybe watch the Nora Roberts Movie on channel 27 at 9. I can't remember what the name of it is the week. Of course Prison Break comes on at 8 and I definitely can't miss that show. Anyone that stops by ..have a good evening and a peaceful nites rest. Take care...Debbie

Since there are two posts for today and I don't want to forget anyone, I will just say, hello to ALL my BakeSpace friends! I had trouble getting on, noticed the recipes were the same as yesterday and thought oh no, not another day without BakeSpace. I just got home from dinner at my inlaws and thought I would check in and see if everything was back to normal. We had meatball subs, cinnamon apples, homemade pickles and lemon lime poppyseed cake. An odd combination but everything was so good! We are expecting bad weather here tomorrow and Wed. also. We are hoping to make it to the Amish markets in Lancaster and back before the bad stuff gets here. Then my sweet butcher (who happens to be my BIL) said if I wanted the beef for the roast he would have me one ready when I got back from the market to stop and pick it up on my way home. I was thinking it would be nice to have that in the oven on Wednesday with the bad weather going on outside. Everyone stay safe and warm.
