Good morning everyone. Well I made it into work this morning. We've got about three or four inches of snow right now and just before I left my house, the sleet/freezing rain and snow mixture started. I told everyone last night that, unless we had a level 3 snow emergency, I would be in today. I was so hoping for one, but we just made it to a level 2 - darn! Who knows maybe I'll get to leave early, it's supposed to continue snowing all day. So far I've had a voice mail telling me that one person wouldn't be in today, and just got a call from somone else saying she wouldn't be in either. The good thing is that the two who called in are the drama queens - maybe today won't be so bad after all!!!

Guess I had better get to work. I'll try to check back in later.

Sheryle

Hi Everyone
Please think of my sister today as she has surgery. The last time she attempted she stopped breathing.
It is going to finally snow here tonight. Then change to freezing rain.
I am having a meeting tomorrow night on Valentine's Day I hope we don't cancel it. I made about 60 Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods for it. And in my family they would never last for the next meeting. I am hiding them now as we speak.
I am on strike at home, no more cleaning, cooking anything. I feel very taken advantage of and this is the only way I know how to affect them.
Plus I am annoyed at my husband, we have not gone out to do anything since Sept. and he tells me the other night that we or he is cooking for Valentine's Day. He has the day off. which means he will make a mess and I get the supreme pleasure of cleaning it up. Romantic Huh. I don't expect us going out to fancy restaurants but let's do something. I was cooking the day I came home from the hospital with a walker, do you think I deserve this. Bad day again in my house. The girls are out of control, I'm depressed and tired of their drama.
Sorry everyone.
Everyone be careful today with the snow and bad weather. I count on you all to be here each day.
Linda

Just heard from the rest of the staff, who work in my area, and they aren't coming in - so it's just me today. So far in the whole building there are only five brave or foolish souls who made it to work.

Good Morning, Sheryle, Linda, and all to follow,

I don't have a lot planned today, other than every day household chores and a meeting tonight. Tuesday night is always busy, so I usually plan a quick meal. My husband's appointment and my meeting are in opposite directions, of course. Smile

Sheryle - We had watches and warnings for the same storm until they could tell it was staying south of us. You immediately came to mind. I'll be praying that you have a safe trip home.

Linda - I'll be keeping your sister in prayer. Is your sister's surgery scheduled for today? I'll, also, be praying that you will be encouraged.

I'd better get moving, so tonight goes as smoothly as possible.
Sending smiles your way,
Vicki

Good morning Sheryle,Linda,Vicki,Holly and all to come.
Cloudy but fairly warm this morning suppose to rain today. Then turn colder.
Yesterday evening DD,Kaitlyn and I put together her valentine cups for kindergarten. What we fixed was,we bought valentine plastic cups from walmart 5 for 1 dollar, cellophane valentine bags and some candy, stickers and erasers. Then we filled each bag with a mixture of candy and the other items along with a valentine card, tied up the bags placed them in the cups and put a name tag on each.We had 25 of them for her class and 3 for other friends at school.Kristin didn't want any for her class. This evening we are going back to the store for valentine cookies for both classes. The school system doesn't allow parents to bring homemade food items for the children but we can for the teachers.

I called Becca this morning and she said she would try to get on later with an update on Makalya and Arlene, her niece and aunt. She had some errands to run this morning.

Linda, praying everything goes well for your sisters surgery.

Got to get to my housework and cooking now. Will try to get back on later.

Wishing all of you a great and safe day.

Hugs for friends,
Pat
