Hello to Vicki, Linda W. Linda, Sheryle, Becca, Holly, Pat, Debbie, Babette and everyone else who comes by today. We are snowed in, the snow and ice is higher than the bumper on cars, no plow came down our road yet and it is almost evening! We didn't get mail delivery today either. I was hoping to surprise hubby with dinner at our favorite steak place but made a nice dinner for the two of us instead. He just made us an "adult beverage" and we are enjoying being snowed in. The restaurants around here are all closed anyway. We had snow yesterday, ice storms all night, freezing rain today and a little more snow. It is a real mess. Hubby and I have physical limitations and the snow is way too heavy for us to take care of. I hope our already damaged roof will be okay with all that heavy ice and snow on it. Vicki, glad that you escaped the brunt of the storm. Linda, glad to hear that your sisters surgery went well. Hope the anesthesia wasn't too rough on her. Do you think that your PT is helping you? Linda L, my hubby kept tuning in the dog show. I am glad that you had a good time. Hope your trip to work wasn't too treacherous. Sheryle, were you able to make it to work today?!? Becca it is nice to see you posting again. It can be tough with sick children to keep up with everything. Pat, my husband loves salmon patties, maybe you could mail him some, tee hee. I can't stand working with that canned salmon. A light bulb just went off, I bet even I would enjoy it made with fresh salmon. Hmmm I will have to try that. Debbie your dinner sounds delicious! Hope everyone has a really nice Valentine's Day. We did make it to the Amish Market yesterday, got a lot of good things. We had company when we got home and I never did get a chance to post yesterday.
Patti

Hi Patti...Looks like so far you are the only one that has paoted since I was last on. Sounds like you had a nice romatic evening being snowed in with your sweetheart! Sometimes things are better that way. Dh offered totake me out for dinner and I said no, because we have the same weather conditions you have, plus the wind is blowingand it makes the temops that much colder. I can't wait until next Wednesday...it's supposed to be in the 40's !!!!! Maybe with temps like that it'll melt the snow and we'll be able to see the ground. You know it's been many years since we had temps this cold that the snow couldn't melt!
Well i'm going to go check out the TOH recipe board and then stop bake here later on. TTYL.....Debbie
