Hi everyone, I just got up. I decided to get on the computer before I took my son to school. TGIF. I am going to be busy today. I have to wash a load of clothes or two. It is very cold here. I hope that we don't get any more bad weather here. I like to see it snow but that is it. When I was little I liked to play in the snow but as I got older I didn't like it as much.
Got to go for now. Talk to you soon.

Good Morning all
Well finally yesterday the Dr. agreed to let me drive. I probably will drive my husband's car as he has electric seats for me to get in and out of it.
Well I went to bed with the girls drama and woke up to it. I am so glad they are out of the house this morning. Peace and quiet.
Going to try to bake, then do some paperwork, but I like best sitting at the computer. Tonight have to help run a Girl Scout event, then food shopping, my DH will help as the walkways are so icy here, I am afraid of falling.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Going to the bookstore today to pick uo some books I ordered. They told me when I ordered them it would be 2 weeks, they came in less than 1 week.Great service. After that I think I'll stop by Hobby Lobby and look around.

Becca, Thanks for the cake yesterday,I probably won't get any of it though. You know how my DH and SoIL love sweets.Need to lose some weight anyway.Your cakes are always delicious!

Holly, hope you and your DH are having a great day.I saw the pictures of your car the other day,how are you and John doing?Ok, I hope!

Linda W. Great news ,glad you can drive again. With your icy conditions please be very careful, don't want you hurt.
Nice to have a quiet house,my granddaughters even though they are only 10 & 6 can really stir thing up around here.Sometimes it's nice when they go to school and I can have peace and quiet, but then I miss them and am glad when they come home.

Got to leave now, talk with you later,

GOOD MORNING DEAR FRIENDS....I'm a little behind this morning...I was up until 2 o'clock this morning working on re-doing Myspace page. I didn't want to leave the Valentine's graphics up too long after the hoilday. Yesterday Dh had to work out of town and the poor guy didn't get home until 11 o'clock. He looked so tired and he was hungry, but didn't want to eat much that late at nite...so I warmed him up a bowl of potato soup. Speaking of potato soup...I made a big soup pot full yesterday, because DD has been wanting some. I used about 6 lbs. of potatoes, 3 cans of can milk, 2 sticks creamery butter, a whole thing of celery, 1 lg. onion and a half a box of instant potatoes...it was soooo good BUT guess what I did...forgot to turn the stove off while we were eating and it burnt..had to flush 75 % of it down the toliet. I almost cried!! Sad Then I was talking to my Mom yesterday morning and remember I was saying she was making a big 18 qt. Nesco full of Vegetable soup and she makes the world's best soup...well yesterday I called her to see how she was doing and see if she made the soup and she informed me that my dad made the soup! My heart sank to the floor. She said he had so many vegetables that he kept having to add tomato juice several times. DD went to pick up my 2 quarts and I was shocked to see that there was hardly any soup broth and all veggies. I don't know if I can do something with it or not. And now I don't know whether to tell Mom it was good or not. I guess they had soup coming out of the yeng-yang!! I'll probably try to do something with it tomorrow as DD and DSIL are taking us out to dinner tonite. She said it was their way of saying thanks for us always taking them out!! So no cooking for me tonite..I'm excited!!

****BECCA, Hope you have a good day today, doing what matters. Ya know I remember many a snowball battles in the snow when I was younger and I loved it, but like you said when you get older..it's not as fun is it?

****LINDA W, CONGRATULATIONS on being able to drive. That should make you feel a little bit better. I hate depending on people for something. Please be careful when you go out!! You need to send those drama queen girls of yours packing. They are definitely old enough ...they Will respect you for it in the future! Sorry to sound so hard hearted and this will be the last time I mention it. How is your sister and mom doing?

****HOLLY, Hi and thanks for the info on the StPatricks.com site. I'm going to check it out. I don't know what I was thinking...I seen the pics of that white car and I guess I never thought about it being yours. Is that what happened when the boy ran into your little community? OR were you and John in an accident?

****PAT, What kind of books do you read? I've got a few books on my list to pick up too. I read the "What are you Reading" thread over on TOH and get a lot of good suggestions on books. There's one started over here too..You need to check it ou

****LINDA L, Wow...that's awful about your friend JIM having a heart attack at such a young age. I will definitely be praying for him. Keep us updated on his condition.

Well, it's almost lunch time, so I better get going. Hello to everyone stopping in after me. Hope you ALL have a beautiful day! TTYAL
Take care....Debbie
