Linda, be safe out there, falling would not be a good thing. Glad to hear you are allowed to drive. Sorry to hear you have some drama going on in you life.

Hi Debble, Becca & Holly, I hope you have a great day!

Linda, keeping your friend in our thoughts & prayers. Hoping for a complete recovery.

Hello to anyone else popping in today!

I hope to have a productive weekend getting some things done around the house, DH has some electircal to do, and he needs to push the snow from the driveway. Plus 100 other things on the list.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hi y'all! Sorry I haven't been here for a couple of days. I have been working in my kids rooms trying to clean them up a little and you know how that is.

It was a very cold 28 here this morning. It doesn't usually get that cold here. They said on the news last night that is hasn't been that cold in 5 years! Well, at least there is no wind, and it is sunny, so it doesn't seem that bad!

Not much else is going on here. Trying to get some laundry done. When I got through in my oldest DD's room yesterday, I had a big pile of clothes that I pulled out of her room! Wow!

I'll close for now and I want to give Linda W a big hug (((Linda))). Also, I don't know how I missed it, but Holly I guess you and John were in a car accident. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope everyone is okay.

Have a great day, friends!

Hugs, Kenna Lou

I think my graphic says it all. It has been such a crazy week - with the snow, freezing rain, and me being the only person able to show up to work on Tuesday and one of two who were able to make it in Wednesday. Woo hoo - I'm so happy that it's over! We are supposed to get more snow tonight, nothing like we've had the past two weeks, but I don't plan on leaving the house. I went to the grocery tonight and bought bacon, eggs, bread, milk and OJ, so I can have a good home cooked breakfast tomorrow and Sunday. I may even break out that new belgian waffle maker and have waffles one day. I have library books, and magazines to read, and I have some very ripe bananas, so may make some banana chocolate chip muffins one day this weekend.

(((Holly and John))) - you poor things, you've had some problems latley haven't you. First the tornado ruins your roof and now it's your truck. I hope things start looking up soon.

Linda W. - a big WOO HOO for you!!! You can finally drive, I'm sure you are thrilled. I've never been unable to drive for that length of time and just can't imagine how awful it would be. Just be careful getting out in this horrible weather.

Kenna Lou - 28 degrees - I bet you are cold! You talking about your DD's room reminds me of one of my nieces. Whenever my sister told her to clean her room, she just shoved everything under her bed. So eventually my sister would have to go in and make her drag everything out from under the bed and really clean her room.

Redawna - glad to see you back posting!

Debbie - how awful about your soup and your mothers. It's so disappointing, especially when you've been looking forward to having some good homemade soup. Couldn't you add some broth and maybe boullion to the vegetable soup? That's great that your letting the kids take you out for dinner. Have a great time!

Linda L - I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I'll definitely pray for him and his family.

Pat - did you get your books? I order books from Amazon a lot and am always excited when they arrive. I love books!

Becca - you sound like me. When I was little I loved the snow and always said I would love to move to some place like Vermont, where they had a lot of snow. I changed my tune, once I got older and had to go to work regardless of the weather. I hope you didn't work too hard and got to relax a little.

Guess I had better wander out to the kitchen and get something for dinner.

Talk to you later,
