Have you guys heard about the new movie coming out with Meryl Streep called "it's Complicated?" From the commercials you wouldn't know this, but she runs a bakery/restaurant in the film. Who knew? Anyhow... we're going to be hosting a giveaway in the next couple of days...hint hint... I hope you all join in. There's an awesome prize!

So.. I posted this on facebook and I thought I'd check in here too - we're hosting a giveaway with the movie to win a really nice $400 espresso machine - it's pretty awesome and I want one! Anyhow, since the movie is about friendships helping you though the tough times, I thought it would be cool to have the contest invite members post a friendship inspired story - kind of like to honor true friends during the holiday season.

Now, after seeing how few people posted to the last "leave a comment" contest, I'm a little hesitant to do another "post to comment" contest because I'd like us to look good to Universal. So I'm thinking to make it an upload recipe contest - but what kind of recipe? I thought coffee.. cause you share a coffee with friends and there is a coffee machine - is that too boring?

What do you think? On Facebook it's 50-50...

Maybe recipes that have coffee as an ingredient or recipes for stuff that go with coffee (coffee cake, donuts, tea cakes and stuff)

I have a recipe to upload....that has coffee in it.

Dunno about the story thing....I'm a cooker/baker, not a writer. Tho this year has been a difficult one, and I have had great friends to lean on. Seems like all my friends are having a difficult time these days.
