Good morning my friends.Thought I'd come on here before the girls get up and get ready for school.Which will be in about 5 minutes.Today is the last day of school, tomorrow starts spring break.
Yesterday was so warm and beautiful and today is turning colder. Sad
I don't care for cooler weather.
A couple of errands to do this morning. One is to the grocery store.I don't have any idea what I'm cooking today.Have figured Sundays dinner though.Dad wants some pintos and cornbread,so I'm going to have a smoked ham and some scalloped potatoes to go with it.DD is doing the dessert.

Got to go for now DD is getting the girls up and I need to shower.
Everyone have a great day.

Pat

Good Morning, Pat and all to follow!

Brrrr! By noon, yesterday, we had icicles hanging from our garage roof. By mid-afternoon we had a layer of snow on the ground. Now we have enough snow for a snowman! I may make a pot of soup for supper tonight. Where did our 70 degree weather go?

The youth group in Louisiana should start home tomorrow. From what I've heard they have helped with roofing, drywalling, painting, mudding, siding, hanging kitchen cabinets and putting up ceiling tiles. We'll hear a lot more detail upon their return Saturday night.

Pat - You mentioned colder weather is forecasted? Is snow in your forecast, too?

Sending warm wishes,
Vicki

Good morning to Vicki, Pat and anyone else who stops by today. We had some big snow flakes falling a little while ago but they seemed to have stopped for now. My DGD is supposed to have an Easter egg hunt this afternoon at her daycare and we are thinking about going because neither of her parents can make it and she sounded so sad that no one would be there. I will put a roast beef in the oven before we leave and then we can all come back here for dinner. That is the only plan for today so far.

Good morning Pat, Vicki and all who follow. I took the morning off work and am getting ready to go in for the afternoon. It will be nice to just have 4 hours to work today! After work a friend from work, and I are going shopping for a wedding present for one of our student workers and probably do some shopping for us, then eat somewhere...we are thinking about Texas Roadhouse.

Pat - your dinner sounds yummy!

Vicki - I guess I won't complain about how cold it's gotten here...at least we don't have snow! It did snow a bit yesterday, but we didn't get much. I hate to think that it's going to be so cold and awful for Easter.

Kenna Lou - I'm so glad you returned your washer and dryer for something you like better. I don't blame you for being upset...that's a lot of money to spend on something you don't like.

Linda - I'll try to find some recipes to post to the April thread. I just don't do much cooking/baking anymore...and Stouffers (sp) doesn't put their recipes on their boxes. Laughing

Debbie - I had to laugh at your little dutch boy hair cut...I've had some like that too. One time I came home from a hair appointment and just went to bed and cried myself to sleep...I looked like Moe from the three stooges!

Patti - I hope your day isn't so busy that you can't drop in sooner. I only watched American Idol once and couldn't stand how mean that one judge was, so haven't watched it since. I know it's all part of the show, but I think he needs to lighten up on the contestants.

Jennifer, Holly, Linda W. and Becca -hope you are doing well.

I miss hearing from Kate, Jan, Toni, Anita and Suzanne.

Guess I had better get going and get to work.

Good morning Patti - you posted while I was writing...I guess I shouldn't be so long winded. I hope you get to go to your granddaughters Easter egg hunt. I'm sure she would love to see you there.

Hi Guys.. .so we're trying something new today.. I'm keeping the TOH locked to only BakeSpace Members, but I'm opening up the rest of the pantry so we can see if people aren't posting because of the registration process. We're getting great traffic so I need to test this. No one will be able to post in the TOH part without logging in so you don't have to worry about spammers here. I'm going to be watching the site all day so I can delete things quickly that aren't cool. Let's see how this goes. I may close it tonight (when the spammers usually come out).

Thanks for understanding! Hope you're having a great day!

Remember to log in to make your post connected to you if you post in other categories..

HELLO FRIENDS........OK, I think this April Fools Day Joke has went far enough!!! Meaning our weather should be warm and sunny NOT cold and snowing!! It is really cold outside today and at nite we have a 5-day freeze warning! We've been having snow, but NO accumulation....thank goodness. I think what is making it bad is the high winds...BURRRRRR!!!
DD and I are going to get our nails done after dinner tonite and I'm about tempted to cancell, I hate going out in the cold if I don't have too;but I'll probably go, since I told her I would! There's not alot going on at my house today...it's 12:30 and DH hasn't been home for lunch, so I doubt he makes it...he probably got stuck on a job. After I get off the computer, I'm headed for the kitchen to make a pot of Potato Soup. Sounds comforting to me, beings it's so cold outside!

***PAT, Too bad we aren't having those 80* days, especially for the kids Spring Break! Good luck with figuring out what you're fixing for dinner..fix some soup! How wonderful that you're fixing your dad Pinto beans and Cornbread for Easter dinner....he'll remember you for being so kind.

***VICKI, I love your winter time graphics....Boy enough snow for a SNOWMAN...I'll never complain again! So glad your DS is coming home this Saturday. Please tell him for me that I'm so proud of him for being such a good, thoughtful person and I appreciate his effort to help rebuild New Orleans.

***PATTI, How wonderful that you are going to be at the daycare for the kids Easter Egg Hunt. That will make them very happy I'm sure. If it's cold outside will they have the hunt inside? Your Roast dinner sounds very yummy. I haven't fixed a roast for several weeks...I need to put that on my menu list.

***SHERYLE, That was probably nice to be able to sleep in this morning. Hope your afternoon goes well. Have fun tonite shopping and eating at Texas Roadhouse. It's a good place to eat!

***HOLLY, Good to see you stop in. Sorry yo hear you and John aren't doing well. Have you been to the doctor about why you are having these black-outs? Hope John gets good news from his doctor tomorrow! For some reason I STILL can NOT get into your MYSPACE. When I go there, I can't use any functions like....scroll up or down, back button, click on home to get back to my Myspace...nothing. The only way i can get out is to do a "Ctrl,Alt, Delete...and get out by getting into task manager and stopping the job! I have no problen with anyone else's page. This is why you're not getting messages from me....sorry.

Well, I better get to the kitchen and get my soup made. Hello to anyone else that stops in after me. I hope everyone has a good day and stays warm! Take care and hugs coming to ya....Debbie
