Good morning.
DD had to go to work early this morning so I'm up at 5:30,it's now almost 7 and I'm just getting awake good.Didn't go to bed til after midnight.Couldn't sleep then but would love to now. Laughing
Not much planned for today outside of the regular things.

I hope everyone is feeling better. These colds are awful and those with back pain,I know how that feels, horribly painful as I too have a back problem. In 2002 I reached down to pick up a toy and felt the most incredible pain .A few minutes later it was ok.Went about my work the rest of that day.Next morning when I got up I noticed my leg was partly numb.Took Kristin to school everything seemed find til I started to leave and as I walked back to the car I started having pains in my lower back.By the time I got home the pain was so bad I almost cried.Went to the dr. he thought I'd pulled a muscle ,it wasn't .Two days later back to the dr. still in alot of pain.He sent me to have an mri, then to a specialist I had a slipped disk.Dr. said surgery at my age would only make it worse for me.So it was different medicines and therapy.Only hurts once in a while now if I do things I've been told not to like lifting anything heavy.Nothing over 5 lbs.
Enough about my aches and pains I'd better get my day going.

Hope all of you had a good nights sleep and will have a wonderful day.

Pat

Good Morning Everyone!

Sounds like we all have our 'ailments' this week! Today is my first day of vacation, and I feel terrible. I went to the doctor after work yesterday, and I have a bad sinus infection. My ears hurt, but they didn't appear infected, but the doctor said alot of the sinus pain is being referred there. My throat is really sore this morning. Also, I found out I have TMJ, and that is causing some of the pain. What a way to start my vacation. At least, I don't have to be at work feeling lousy! I have a lot to do today, but I am going to rest as much as I can.

It is 44 degrees this morning in NKY. The high is only supposed to get to 48 degrees.

Hope y'all have a good day today.

Kate

Good Morning, Pat, Kate, and all to follow!
What have we done! How can we pass these colds, sinus infections, back problems, etc... throughout the The Pantry-TOH. I have been debating about visiting the doctor regarding a sinus infection, too. My daughter and grandchildren will be here this morning. So, it will probably have to wait until at least tomorrow. Get well wishes to all.

The view outside our window has totally changed from early yesterday morning. Today, we see the ground covered with snow.

Did anyone have problems getting into BakeSpace or The Pantry yesterday? I would get error messages or the web site would not load at all.

Hope each of you feel better soon. Prayers for Linda W's family, too. This has to be a shock to all family and friends.

Hugs,
Vicki

Good Morning Vicki, Kate and all to follow!!!

As Vicki mentioned we got hit HARD with snow yesterday. We probably got 4-6 inches. I left work early yesterday because of the weather, my DH called me and told me to get my BUTT home. He was off yesterday so he was out in it, a normal trip to town normally takes 15 minutes yesterday it took him 35 min(w/4WD truck). I left around 3, and got home around 4:30. I didn't think I did to bad considering my normal drive home is an hour.

Take it easy today Kate, sounds like you need to rest.

Still looking for a preschool progam for Lukas. Haven't had much luck. I think it'll just crush him if he doesn't go to school next year. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Anyway just thought I'd stop in quick and tell everyone HI!!

Jennifer

Praying for Linda and her family.

Good morning, girls! Well, it sounds like we are all a bunch of sickies this week. Since it started with me last Monday, I guess I'm to blame. But, I promise, I did not give it to the rest of you. My youngest daughter has it now, so I am getting ready to call the doctor and try to get her in today. I didn't go to the doctor with mine, but I probably should have. I have never had anything hang on for this long. It has been 10 days now. UGH!

I hope everyone gets well soon and that no one else gets sick! Have a great day, if you can in between coughing, blowing your nose, etc.

Love, Kenna Lou

GOOD MORNING PAT, KATE, VICKI, JENNIFER and EVERYONE that stops in......I have to make this quick because I'm getting ready to go to breakfast with DD and the boys. My cold is a little bit better and mt sore throat is gone. I gargle with warm salt water anytime I get a sore thoart and it always helps. Temps for here today is going to be 50* and rain! You know I think that's why we all got these nasty colds...one minute it's 80*, then it's in the 30's!

***PAT, Sounds like an afternoon nap is in order for you! Glad your not having too many problems with your slipped disc. When your back goes out, your whole body stops working!

***KATE, Glad to se you posting again! Sorry you feel bad on your vacation....Gargle some salt water for your sore throat! Sounds like you're having the same kind of weather we are having.

***VICKI, I didn't have any trouble getting on-line yesterday. Maybe it was your server. I was wondering where you were.

***JENNIFER, 6" of SNOW....Yuck! I did se that on the weather map. I thought about you. Continued good luck finding a pre-school for Lucas!

***KENNA LOU, Boy you have had it for a while...they say a cold runs it's course for 10 days! Hope you start feeling better soon.

I gotta get going and find my shoes....I'll talk to everyone later! Take care....Debbie

Good morning everyone! LOL...we're a mess aren't we? I'm going in to work late again today...I just can't sit at my desk eight hours so am just going 4-6 hours. Hopefully next week my back will be in good enough shape that I can work all day. I guess I won't complain about the cold and rain, it's better than getting the snow that Vicki and Jennifer have.

Pat - isn't it awful to not be able to sleep and then have to get up early the next day? I have nights like that once in a while. Love the graphic!

Kate - that's a shame that you are going to be sick on your vacation! I hope you can have some fun.

Vicki - yes I did have problems getting on BakeSpace yesterday. I would get a message saying the site couldn't be found or was down. When I finally got on last night, it seemed to work fine.

Jennifer - I hope you have success in finding a good preschool for Lukas. A good preschool is so important in getting them ready for school.

Kenna Lou - you bad girl, why haven't you been to the doctor? I hope you and your daughter start feeling better soon.

Debbie - mmm I love going out to eat for breakfast. Where are you going? Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

I'm watching Martha Stewart while writing and she just showed how to make a chalkboard table cloth...what a cool idea for a party!

Gotta go...

Vicki and Debbie,

First I need to apologize to Vicki,I forgot to thank you for the beautiful Easter e-card.I'm sorry .Your thoughtfulness should have been acknowledged.
Next,
I need to make a correction in something I said the other day.

I thanked Debbie for the Easter card she sent to me and told her it was the only Easter card I've ever gotten.I should have added that it was the only Easter card I've ever gotten through the mail.I did get another Easter card from Vicki,it was a very beautiful e-card.I appreciate the cards but mostly the thoughts behind them, that you both took your time to pick them out and send them.

Again thank you Vicki and Debbie.

Hugs,
Pat
