I survived the weekend with two giggley full of energy girls. Thank heavens for cupcake decorating, to give me a chance to sit down. My son James called soon after they went home and I told him 15 minutes before they left we broke out the heating pads. He said didn't you used to have three of us. I told him we were much younger then!
We have had beautiful weather the last couple of days and there are still some beautiful trees so our travels couldn't have been planned better.
I will check back later for personals.

After two loads of laundry and many calls for insurance answers I am back again.
**Vickie, big football weekend for you huh. Those toasters are hilarious. sitting at home warm and cozy eating Danielle's chicken sounds much better than sitting and freezing at the actual game.
**Marsha, a very warm welcome to you. We would love to get more members here. There are some great cooks here but even better friends are here. I hope you will drop by often and tell us how things are going in your neck of the woods and we all love telling each other or better showing each other what we are cooking and baking.
**Ann, don't take too much stock in the long range forecasts, they are always changing. Good luck with your winter coat hunt. I hate buying coats, I think I can use my wool pea coat another year. I hope you have some fun things planned for your vacation, more than just cleaning. It does feel good to have that done though doesn't it.
**Fan, thanks so much for sharing the re-enactment with us. Those are some wonderful pictures. From your other pictures looks like you got the serious wintry weather before us, I don't mind waiting for it at all. Your food pictures make me drool as always.

Hubby is out hunting today, I wished him luck, but I am not so sure I really mean it. I told him our freezers are full of fruits and vegetables and we don't have room for meat, ha ha. Can you believe to him, that is not a good thing.
My son got an offer for his house, we are keeping our fingers crossed. He put in a counter offer and now we wait.
I still have more laundry to do, the girls borrowed some sweatshirts for toasting the marshmallows and believe it or not they got kind of sticky. I better get back to it. See you all tomorrow.

Hi PattiT and everybody else, have a brilliant start of the weekend Very Happy

PattiT, glad you survived Wink Sounds like the little ladies had a fun weekend at your place. James' remark made me smile Smile . You could have asked him whether he was still hoping for a little brother as a way of reply. Hopefully the offer on his house is going to work for him.

Our weather is still stormy and very very wet. Had to drive my bike today for an inspection at a location close to the city borders with a colleague. It was really pouring cats and dogs and felt like swimming on the road. We were so totally drenched upon arrival. Lucky they had a good supply of warm coffee to perk us up.
Came home drenched again and decided on the leftover chicken soup and toast for dinner.
