I picked up kohlrabi at the local Farmer's Market. A couple of the farmers said they eat it raw (shredded or finely diced) in salads, or baked (thinly sliced or shredded with olive oil and cheese).
How do you fix kohlrabi?

| Saute with a little olive oil and a clove or two of garlic. Serve with a slice of crusty Italian bread. Yum |

You can treat it like most root vegetables, like celery root. Try cooking it through like you're boiling potatoes, then pureeing it or mashing it. You can mix and match root vegetables for different flavor combinations. _________________ http://www.bakespace.com/members/profile/demartino/4548/ |

Thanks for all your help. Will buy more next summer at the local Farmer's Market.
