Why I want to be mentor in this category: I love helping home chefs gain confidence and most of all have fun in the kitchen.
What inspires me in this category: Understanding where the dishes came from and how they evolved to be on today's table is such fun! French and Italian cuisine is all about the dining experience and to be shared with family and friends!
Experience: Having lived in Southern France for 10 years, I was lucky to learn all about both Fench and Italian cuisine for the home cook!
Biggest Lesson Learned: Ingredients are the king! Local, fresh an in season!
Books, classes, teachers that have helped me: Julia Child, restaurant dining in France and Italy and learning from the village grandmothers how they prepare their family meals.
