My Mexican Corner
Why I want to be mentor in this category:
I have a passion for Mexican food, just ask my husband!
What inspires me in this category:
I am proud to be married to my husband and can't wait to teach our child about another part of their ethnic background!
Experience:
I married into a Hispanic-American family and have learned a lot over the years. I can cook rice better than my MIL:) and my homemade totillias are to die for, seriously!
Biggest Lesson Learned:
It is about what you like and making the dish your own. Each family member makes rice their own way for example.

Why I want to be mentor in this category:
I'm not lying, I love a good beverage!
Experience:
During college I worked in the coolest place ever...a liquor store, it's even where I met my husband! I learned so much about mixing drinks, trying new things and I still use my experience today to make some really good drinks!
Biggest Lesson Learned:
More does not equal better, just stronger:)

Indiana Beverage Journal, I still read it.
My Tips:
- Vodka, gin, tequila, rum and bourbon, a good basic start to any bar, and cheaper is not always better.
