Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Because I have alot to share and time to help fellow bakers and cake decorating buddies.

What inspires me in this category:
I have inspirations from every corner of life. Whether it's a fellow cake decorator or a book. Creativity moves me and is the greatest outlet one can have.

Experience:
I have been a cake decorator for 10 years and have entered various competitions and recently won second place in my division at the National Capital Area Cake show

Biggest Lesson Learned:
Practice makes perfect and don't be afraid to ask a fellow caker questions when stumped.

Books, classes, teachers that have helped me:
Various books (listed on my blog) have inspired me. Peggy Porchen is a favorite. I have taken Wilton classes and have conversed with Nationally recognized prize winning pastry chef's for advice and tips on baking and cake decorating.

Education, Awards, Pro Experience:
as I mentioned above I recently won second place at a cake competition, i have taken various cake decorating classes, researched for hours, have a successful baking blog and have practiced and trained for 10 years.
