Why I want to be mentor in this category: I love pizza . And seeing the smile on my loved ones face , after eating one of my pizzas , has made me want to spread my message . I hope to help you all see that delivery pizza is ruining the most joyous food .
What inspires me in this category: When I look at my pies , fresh out of the oven and hissing , I do get weepy . It's hotter than Miss Universe .
Experience: I've benn making my own pizzas for about 20 years . I have experimented in both proffessional kitchen as well as making about ... well , probably tens of thousands of my own pies . I've worked in the restaurant industry , from busser to bar manager and all points in between , from Texas to L.A. , while working as an actor . Education, Awards, Pro Experience: I started with Food Science and Nutrition in High School and went to State twice . I've worked in coffee house , Tex -Mex places funky pubs in Deep Ellum and even a family Italian place in L.A. Mor ethan anything else , I am most proud of "Pie In The Sky " , which is my very own pizza show .
Toppings and cheese can only take you so far . Ya need to get the foundation right if you wanna build a house for the ages .
