Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Experience, and the need to make everyone as satisfied as I get when you see the pleasure on someone's face after tasting your creation.

What inspires me in this category:
I watched my grandmother in the kitchen create some wonderful things from her head; not one recipe, and she never wrote anything down.

Experience:
Been baking since I was 10, when I got my first cookbook. Also have been competitively baking for 30 years.

Biggest Lesson Learned:
You will never know more about baking than someone else. Keep your eyes and ears open to pick up tips.

Reading hundreds of cookbooks cover to cover, cooking shows on television, and tips from my competitive peers.

Hundreds of ribbons and certificates, and being self-taught with no culinary degree.
