Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Looking to expand understanding of professional espresso.

What inspires me in this category:
It's what I now do :-)

Working for the Hausbrandt Coffee distributor in the UK.

Biggest Lesson Learned:
People who think they know about coffee, and people who should know about coffee - those serving you coffee in coffee shops for example - quite often don't !

Education, Awards, Pro Experience:
Working with one of the oldest Italian coffee roasters in the world.

My Tips:

  • Don't overfill your bean hopper - unused beans at the end of the day, go in the bin!
  • Don't grind beans until you need them - unused ground coffee at the end of the day, goes in the bin!
  • Keeping your espresso machine clean reduces maintenance costs - really !
