Experience:
Champion Barbecue competitor, Master Certified BBQ Judge, retired Certified BBQ Judge instructor. Produced 3 BBQ videos staring Paul Kirk, the Kansas City Baron of Barbecue.
Biggest Lesson Learned:
How to Que.
Education, Awards, Pro Experience:
See experience. On the Board of the Kansas City Barbecue Society for 9 years, VP for 6. On the committee that put on the American Royal BBQ contest fo 12 years, and on the committee for The Great American BBQ Festival for 8 years.
Was chairman of the KCBS Contest Reps committee for 5 years, and ran contests from coast to coast for 12 years.

Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Lots of experience making bread for daily use.
What inspires me in this category:
I use my machines to prepare the doughs, and bake in the oven. I'm not fond of propellers in my loaves!
Experience:
Owner of the now a bit dormant Bread Machine Recipe Group on Yahoo Groups. I posted a new recipe a week for years, and the members tried them, improved and discussed them.
Biggest Lesson Learned:
Learn the basic techniques and your machine, then improvise & improve!
