Why I want to be mentor in this category:
Mentors also learn from their pupils, and I'm hear to learn.
Experience:
I live with my fiancee and I am responsible for feeding us both, otherwise we go out and eat horrible fast food. It is my goal to keep us full, provide enough leftovers for sack-lunch the next day, and hopefully (but not always) to lose weight and save money in the process.
Biggest Lesson Learned:
If I fail at a recipe during the first try, always try again. With determination it will be a success eventually.
My Tips:
- Try to make enough for leftovers, it saves money.
- Prep in advance as often as possible.
- Experiment with homemade techniques instead of going straight to the can. It can be more rewarding.
