Why I want to be mentor in this category:
I think I have allot of baking experience to share that would benefit someone else.

What inspires me in this category:
Bread is endlessly unique and always has something new to teach me.

The less you do with bread and more patience you have, the better the final baked bread.

Education, Awards, Pro Experience:
I am a professional pastry chef, authored 4 cookbooks on baking, write for the New York Times and Food and Wine etc,. and host www.betterbaking.com. I've also taught all sorts of baking for many years.

My Tips:

  • Use instant yeast, it's more hearty than active dry yeast.
