Why I want to be mentor: I have, I\'d say, a huge knowledge on pasta :)

Lesson Learned: You shouldn\'t put the pasta in boiling water and simply wait for the cooking minutes suggested. You should taste it and see if it\'s okay or needs some more cooking. Never, Never take off the pasta without trying one first!

Tip: The water you're cooking the pasta in should ALWAYS be salted. So add a bit of salt and taste it; should remind you of sea water. Not terribly salty, not unsalted.

Lesson Learned: In Italy there are no seeds in a red sauce.

Tip: Keep European food simple.
