Why I want to be mentor: I have experience with multiple diets and restrictions. I do baking on the side and am familiar with gluten free diets.
Lesson Learned: Freshness is the key, I love the taste of natural ingredients with bold flavors.
Tip: I love grilling and roasting, They bring out the natural sugars of vegetables and add a whole level of flavor to the food.
Why I want to be mentor: Why not? My soups rock!
Lesson Learned: Soups are one of the easiest meals to make! If you start with a good stock, and know how to make a mire poix, then you are on your way to making a variety of hearty and tasty soups! It\'s also economical.
Tip: Don't be afraid to keep tasting, and seasoning until it tastes right. I never use table salt-- only kosher salt or sea salt. Go easy, be patient. You can always add more, but it's hard to take away too much!
