My grandma and mom are wonderful bakers and I have learned a few tricks over the years. I have been a RN for 10 years and thanks to a persistent husband I am going to take some classes and possibly open my own bakery. I love to make cookies, cakes, candy, etc. I believe that taste is more important than "beauty". I hope to have a small town bakery where people can come and enjoy fresh homemade treats, not mass produced baked goods. I am here to meet other cooks and to get advice and tips from those who have opened their own business.
