Here For: recipes baby!
Want to Learn How: to do everything I can.
Cooker or Caker: Both
Bake/Cook Frequency: 1-5 times a week
Baking/Cooking Training: I have been cooking for decades, but don't have any formal training.
Favorite Food: I love pasta. I have recently been getting into doing it more authentic Italian style. You know, with less sauce and finishing the pasta up in the sauce rather than just slathering it all on when it's done.
Favorite Food Moment: The first time I baked a cake. I was about eight years old and I walked up to my mom and said 'I want cake'. She went over to her (massive) cookbook collection, grabbed a Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook from the 60's and opened it up to a recipe called "Busy Day Cake". She handed it to me, said "you know where everything is" and walked off. Surprisingly enough, the cake came out pretty well. And I haven't stopped cooking since.
Favorite Cooking Word: Do cocktail words count? If so: muddle. It's just fun to say.
Favorite Chef: Jose Andres. That dude rules, he *loves* food.
Interests: I like to cook, obviously. I also read a lot, play guitar, play video games and cook. I also like to cook.
Languages: A little English, but that's it.
Books: Almost anything. I particularly like sci-fi, real sci, fantasy and horror
Music: blues, big band, metal, ska, psychobilly
TV/Movies: I like Godzilla movies (NOT the American one. That was just awful.), 70-80s horror movies, Christopher Guest movies, MST3K and cartoons.
