Bake/Cook Frequency: 1-5 times a week
Baking/Cooking Training: My grandmothers, my mother, my aunt; they all helped shape me into the cook I am today.
Favorite Food: Edible. Seriously, I'll eat just about anything. My husband and I travel A LOT, so I can't be too picky or timid about trying new things.
Favorite Food Moment: Watching my infant son taste his first ice cream cone ;-)
Favorite Cooking Word: "Honey, can you please..." I love having my assistant in the kitchen with me!
Favoriate Restaurant: There are a handful:

La Caille (Sandy, UT)
11th Street Dockside (Port Royal, SC)
Favorite Chef: Paula Deen, 'cause she's a southern girl!
In My Town Try: In Smyrna, GA:
Maru (sushi)
Swapna (Indian)
my house (everything)
Interests: My favorite thing is...TRAVELING! (You thought I'd say 'cooking', right?) I also enjoy cooking, crafting, reading, hiking, rockhounding, flying my Cessna 150 and annoying my husband ;-)
Languages: I speak Spanish and French fluently. I also have some Portuguese and sign language. I'm considering learning Gaelic next.
Books: I love reading to my son the same books my mother read to me when I was little: Goodnight Moon, Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny. One of my favorites is I'll Love You Forever - what a tear jerker!
Music: You know, those "Baby Einstein" CDs (Baby Bach, Baby Mozart and the like) are actually very relaxing!
TV/Movies: My favorite movie, hands down, is Waking Ned Devine, though I recently saw P.S. I Love You and loved it.
Travel: Anywhere, anytime. I no longer count the cities, countries or time zones I've visited; I count the continents (4 so far; 3 to go!).
Clubs: I'm in the local chapter of M.O.M.S. (Moms Offering Moms Support); a group for stay at home moms or moms who work part time. It's nice to get out of the house once in a while for meetings, playgroup, moms' night out or fun activities with our children.
