Favorite Food Moment: The time I got to spend cooking with my mom.
Favorite Cooking Word: In a restaurant there are so many words, some I can not repete and the others only make since to us cooks. Sorry.
Favoriate Restaurant: Restaurant Eve in Old Town Alexandria, Chef Cathal Armstrong is the man.
Favorite Chef: Patrick O'Connell @ The Inn. He has put VA on the map when it comes to food. Cathal Armstrong @Eve one day I will be as good as him. Brian McBride @ Blue Duck Tavern and now Chef at Brasserie Beck. Chef McBride help take me to the next level.
In My Town Try: If you are ever in the big VA, make your way over to Miller farms, Millerfarmersmarket.com they have a love for farming like no other. Maybe you will be in town when I am hosting a Farm to table event, I always have room for one more plate.

I am a self taught chef. I love anything that has to do with food. The best thing about having the skill to cook good food is cooking for friends and family. Using Local In season ingredients of course. Like I say, "Eat Local Stuff".
