ABOUT ME
I am Dominican, live in Florida, married with two cute sons. My favorite hobby and ultimate passion is baking and cake decorating. I also enjoy entertaining during the holidays and cooking for family and friends. My big dilemma is that I have a sweet tooth and I don't believe in low fat, light desserts. I always go for the rich, ooey-gooey stuff. BUT...at the same time, I watch what I eat, so there!... My life is a constant contradiction between decadent dessert cookbooks and healthy/diet books, so I struggle to find a balance between the two. I find baking very soothing and relaxing. I enjoy trying new recipes but I am not into fancy, complicated gourmet dishes. I prefer easy but delicious down home comfort recipes. My favorites are from Southern Living and Taste of Home cookbooks. I have a large recipe collection and would love to exchange true and tried recipes with others and make new friends in the process.
