ABOUT ME

I'm an engineer with a passion for baking, especially cupcakes! I have always been interested in baking but got away from it some when I was busy in school. The past year I've gotten very involved again and love getting interesting cupcake ideas online and in books. I've been making cupcakes for various events, making everything from sunflowers to pandas! I have a blog that chronicles all my sweet treats and the real life stories behind the treats. Occupation: Mechanical Engineer

Cooker or Caker: Both

Bake/Cook Frequency: 1-5 times a week

Baking/Cooking Training: Mainly self taught but was in cooking club when I was younger. I read a lot online and get ideas and techniques.

Favorite Food: Italian food, I love pasta! As for dessert I love red velvet cake and butterscotch pie. I have a passion for creating cupcakes!

Favoriate Restaurant: One I am able to go to a lot - Olive Garden One when I'm in NYC - Mesa Grill

Favorite Chef: Bobby Flay for savory and Candace Nelson for sweet! I've eaten at both of their restaurants (Mesa Grill and Sprinkles Cupcakes) and they both lived up to the hype!

In My Town Try: Joe Bolognas for pizza, Sawyers for hamburgers, and Malone's for steaks

Interests: Baking, theater, music, cooking, and technology

Books: Bible, Jane Austen, Harry Potter series

Music: Josh Groban, Steven Curtis Chapman, Idina Menzel, The Script

TV/Movies: Anything on Food Network (Chopped, Cupcake Wars, and Food Network Star are my favorite). As for movies, I love musicals, romantic comedies, and Audrey Hepburn classics.

Travel: New York City, Chicago
