My name is Annie and I am currently a student at Grand Valley State University. I am half Italian which is where my love of food and cooking comes from. My father is Italian and claims that my mom thinks she's italian, we cook and bake a lot, usually from scratch. I will be stealing recipes from her and my grandma who has made pies for restaurants, and posting them here. My grandfather was diabetic so I hopefully can add some of my grandma's creations, her no-sugar versions of her pies and desserts that actually taste like the real deal. Recently I have really been into Challenges on the Food Network and have been decorating cakes, I am a looong way of from being on the food network but I have made some fun and some cute cakes so it's all good.
