SWEETS TREATS AND MORE'S PROFILE

Baking/Cooking Training: Learned from the best, my Grandmother!
Favorite Food: Boy, there are many! :) But if I have to choose one, it would be Shrimp (anyway but raw).
Favorite Food Moment: The many moments spent with my Grandmother learning everything I could. My most favorite time would be, sitting under the huge oak tree cutting pounds upon pounds of vegetables for homemade vegetable soup, which we canned.
Favorite Cooking Word: Sweet!
Favoriate Restaurant: Joe's Crabshack
Favorite Chef: Not famous by all means but my Grandmother. She was famous to me!
In My Town Try: I live in a rural area so no restaurants here.
Interests: I'm a Coca Cola collector and I also enjoy collecting Princess Diana memorabilia. I love swimming, camping, fishing, hanging out with friends & family. I love the Dallas Stars & Mike Modano (former Star now Red Wing).
Languages: English
Books: Cookbooks top the list. When I have time, I enjoy a good novel.
Music: Country, Rock -n- Roll & some Pop.
TV/Movies: Not a big TV fan unless the Stars are playing, then I'm stuck like glue. I do however, catch the News (local & national) and enjoy a good movie sometimes. A good movie would be a True Story or anything Disney. :)
Travel: Love to travel with my girls!
ABOUT ME
My name is Yvvonne. I was raised here in Texas with a huge love for cooking, sweets being my fav! This is how I came up with the name, Sweets, Treats & More. :) "More" meaning, I do venture off to creating other great things besides sweets. My greatest inspiration is my Grandmother, she was always cooking up wonderful cakes, cookies & real food too. I learned alot from her & boy do I miss her! RIP Mamaw, I love you! I've shared my love of cooking with my girls and I hope they'll continue the tradition.
I'm married with three beautiful daughters. I have two beautiful granddaughters and one grandson. They are my life!
I work part time. I love spending time outdoors, working in the yard & garden or just sitting on the swing relaxing. I also enjoy being involved with my youngest two daughters sports. They both play rink hockey and the youngest one dances on skates (artistic, figures & freestyle). We travel all over Texas for their competitions as well as attend Nationals wherever it is held.
