I love to cook, and spend about 4 hours per day in the kitchen preparing 7 different meals throughout the day for my family. I am always looking for new things since we are a little limited in what we can eat. My husband is allergic to chicken and eggs, so we have to be careful of any prepared foods containing chicken such as gravies, sauces, rice, pasta dishes, etc. I have to do a lot of home made cooking to be sure our foods don't contain chicken stock or chicken fat. I have a daughter named Rachel who was born in June 2006. I've been married for 8 years to my best friend, Tony. We have a cat named Milo, and we live in the western suburbs of Chicago. I own an IT consulting business and work from home which is AWESOME! I also teach self-rescue skills and survival swimming to infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 4 years. I teach them how to safe themselves in the event that they fall into a pool or other body of water and no one is around. This valuable life-saving technique has been documented more than 3,000 times in actual aquatic accidents, and has been taught to over 200,000 children throughout the U.S. What a wonderful job to have!
