ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm the founder of BakeSpace.com. Being an avid baker, it was only natural that I would create some kind of food site. My plan for BakeSpace was to create a hybrid online community where recipes would be just the beginning, not the end of your online food journey like most traditional recipe sites. Our slogan from day-one was "Come for the food, and stay for the conversation."

I love cake decorating and cupcakes. I have a strange fascination with mac & cheese and can hardly resist the temptation to order it at every restaurant I go to. I love collecting vintage recipe cards and old "kitchen of the future" advertising from vintage magazines.

Since launching the site, BakeSpace has grown into solid food community with our recipes being as interesting and diverse as our members.

If you have any questions, need some help or want to share some feedback about the site, please don't hesitate to contact me at info[at]bakespace.com. Babette dear - are you nice or what. Within hours of my query (whole baked fish?), you responded with suggestions. Because I'm sometimes computer-challenged, I ended up doing what this site inspires: ("Necessity is the mother of invention") and winged it by putting a cranberry/balsamic pork glaze onto 3 bass.
