I was born in Chicago iLL...and moved out to California when I was 5...so I am a true Californian...didnt learn to love cooking until late but when it happened boy look out, Emeril Lagasse is my hero, I would watch him everynight, and my husband got tired of it, so I went in the back bedroom to watch him...he inspired me about %90..then I got started on Taste of Home and that finished it..love the down home cooking and family style..Then I found Bakespace from a friend from TOH...and I love this place,I have made alot of great friends and I had found hundreds of great recipes...(just go and look in my kitchen at all my recipes from friends from here). But the time of year I come alive is around the holidays, I am a baking cooking machine...I make candy and breads and fudge and cookies and the list goes on...my true calling was baking and cooking but came into it late but it doesnt go to waste at all...I have my family who loves everything I make and are willing to taste everything willingly...LOL Honestly I think this site is a blessing to alot of people in this world who have a passion about cooking and baking like I do, and I love finding new recipes to add to my list, and friends to share them with. Thankyou Babs for this wonderful site and sharing your wisdom with all of us...you truely are a wonderful lady...and I give you 10 thumbs up...
