I am Kyle. I have worked for 15 years in the food service industry, and have been cooking since I was 10. (My dear Mother, bless her heart, couldn't cook. She boiled EVERYTHING. One day my Dad said "Boy - learn to cook!" So I did.) 2 years ago, I quit my job as head chef of a catering company to be a full-time at-home dad. I hope to one day open a cozy, rustic-style restaurant with a simple menu on the outskirts of Portland.
