Baking/Cooking Training: I have an associates in Baking and Pastry Arts from JWU. I also have spent every job since I've graduated building my culinary knowledge, so I've pretty much earned an associates in Culinary Arts from the school of tough kitchens.

Favorite Food: Picking a favorite food is sacrilegious. My favorite food could be something I have never tried; how will I ever know if I pick one now?

Favorite Food Moment: Biting into a canoli at Mike's Pastry in Boston, eating lasagna in Italy, downing a Hershey's chocolate bar on a bad day, eating chili and chips in my bed with my boyfriend...really do people have favorites for all of these things.

Favorite Cooking Word: Mise en Place - do it or make cooking a five hour ordeal!

Favoriate Restaurant: I don't eat out much, but when I do if it's awful I am sorely disappointed.

Favorite Chef: Every brilliant man and woman I have worked for: not one is on tv, but every one has taught me the art of cooking.

In My Town Try: Waffles and Ice Cream at Hermans, corn pie from a roadside Menonite stand, cheesesteak in Philly

Interests: chocolate, riding a bike, walking, reading when I have the time

TV/Movies: Real Housewives (I love the folks at Bravo for bringing us these women), Top Chef

Travel: I've been to Prague, Venice, Rome, a town in Austria, and Panama. I have lived in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, and have seen many other states along the way.
