Free spirited, trained pastry chef, caker & baker no longer working in the field (but still a die-hard sugar nut). Love anything creative and right-brained... art, colors, music, decor, design, daydreaming, pretty cakes, flower gardening. Collector of pretty and unique antique & vintage things of all sorts. :-)

Favorite Food: Pretty much anything containing sugar.

Favorite Food Moment: Braving NYC & graduating from pastry school in my 30's.

Favorite Cooking Word: Brulee, it just sounds tasty.

Favoriate Restaurant: Payards and the Pink Teacup, for entirely different reasons.

Favorite Chef: Francois Payard, Julia Child, Pierre Herme, Gale Gand

In My Town Try: I've just moved here myself, so I'm not sure yet.

Books: Baking /foodie books in general, books about art, travel, decor, design. I collect interesting antique & vintage books. Poetry.

Music: Old school punkrock, garage, indie, speedrock, classical, blues, jazz

TV/Movies: I tend to like alternative-type indie movies, off-the-wall stuff, or anything funny and / or scary.

Travel: Moscow & St. Petersburg, Russia
