Baking/Cooking Training: I've been baking for most of my life and I've always enjoyed it. I do not have any formal training. I have taken some cake decorating classes and plan to take more.
Favorite Food: Macaroni & Cheese, Hamburgers, Ice Cream, Quiche, Tomatoes, There are just too many to name.
Favorite Food Moment: biting into a fresh ripe tomato. I love the way it just explodes with flavor.
Favorite Cooking Word: sautee. I don't know why I like it but i do.
Favoriate Restaurant: My kitchen.
In My Town Try: Reston Kabob. It's a tiny little hole-in-the-wall place but it's definitely worth it. Their food is so amazing. Their flat bread is always fresh and hot. The beef just melts in your mouth
ABOUT ME
I'm an Admin for an agricultural association in DC. I love my job but it's not my passion. My real passion is baking. I LOVE baking. I bake when I'm bored, stressed, relaxed, happy, or sad. I'll use any occasion as an excuse to bake.
I recently started taking cake decorating classes and now I'm addicted to them.
